Hi! Nice to meet you

Gabrielle Bufrem is a fractional CPO and Product Coach. She also runs a course on Building Impactful Products. Previously, she was the Head of Product at Little Otter Health - a mental health for kids startup that raised over 22M. During her time at Little Otter, Gabrielle increased LTV by 40% and improved conversion by 70% by making diligent decisions about what to focus on, what to build, and what not to build.

Gabrielle has trained hundreds of Product Managers from startups to Fortune 500 companies for over four years through Mind the Product. She is a speaker in conferences around the world where she talks about product leadership, decision-making, and building impactful products. You can see some of her talks here.

Before Little Otter, Gabrielle worked for Pivotal Labs (acquired by VMware). She was part of the seed team that opened their office in Paris where she worked with Renault on their connected car and Orange on their assistance hub. She also worked for their office in Singapore where she worked with the Port of Singapore and rebuilt Singapore Airlines mobile apps (android & iOs). She then moved to San Francisco where she and her team were responsible for unifying seven marketplaces into one to embody the Tanzu brand.

Before Pivotal, she was the first PM in the Au Pair division of Education First where she built a new application system for families and au pairs with an underlying matching algorithm to match host families and au pairs based on personality. The algorithm led to a reduction of 20% in the un-match rate.

Gabrielle is originally from Brazil. She speaks four languages fluently (Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish) and has lived across South America, Europe, Asia, and now currently lives in New York City. She loves advising startups, coaching product teams, giving keynotes, and writing about product. When she’s not building products, she loves to dance, cook, travel the world, and she absolutely adores a good cup of coffee - flat whites are her favorite.

what others are saying

“When learning product, everything depends on the knowledge and experience of the person you're learning from. Too many people don't get the benefit of learning from someone with strong product experience, so they never get to see what good looks like. Gabi knows.”
